MUMBAI: On the first anniversary of Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB-PMJAY), Shri Asit Kumarr Modi, Founder & Managing Director of Neela Tele Films Private Limited and creator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was felicitated by Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Minister of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) today in New Delhi. At the august gathering, the Minister recognized and applauded the show’s immense popularity on TV and its contribution towards the society. Last week, the show had dedicated episodes to raising awareness on the Government’s Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB-PMJAY).
Titled ‘Arogya Manthan’, the event was organized by the National Health Authority (NHA) - the apex body implementing the scheme.
Commending the efforts taken by Shri Asit Modi through his show, Dr Harsh Vardhan tweeted, “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah not only entertains audiences but also spreads social messages through it. Today I felicitate Neela Tele Films’ Asit Modi for raising awareness on AB-PMJAY through his show – Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.”
