MUMBAI: Television’s most popular and one of the longest runnings shows Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, produced by Asit Modi under his banner Neela Telefilms, has bagged the numero uno spot across GECs.

It looks like viewers were anxiously waiting for the comeback of Dayaben, played by Disha Vakani. However, to everyone’s surprise, the actress didn’t really return to the show but gave a glimpse of herself during Navratri celebrations.

As we saw, she speaks to Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) on a video call and says she won’t be able to come back from Ahmedabad right away but promises to return soon.

Everyone is now curious to know when Disha will start shooting full-fledgedly!

Our sources inform us that apparently, the actress is undecided about her return in the show. She is still not able to take a firm decision on whether she is ready to shoot continuously or give priority to her kid and family.

We also hear that the makers and writers want assurity from Disha that she will shoot regularly. Once she returns to the show, there will be no looking back for her.

We hope that once she comes back, the track will revolve around her.

We tried reaching out to Disha and Mr Modi, but they remained unavailable for a comment.
