MUMBAI: Filmmaker Anurag Basu, who is known for films like Barfi!, Life in a... Metro, and Gangster, is gearing up for his new project. 

He is coming up with an action-comedy which will star Abhishek Bachchan. The film is yet to be titled. The film, which also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, and Pankaj Tripathi, has got a new release date. 

The upcoming film will now release on 13 March 2020. This is not the first time that the release date for the film has been changed and while it was earlier set to release in January, which then shifted to 21 February 2020. Now, the film has been pushed forward by a few weeks and will now release on 13 March 2020. Taran Adarsh took to his social media handle and announced the new release date. He wrote, “New release date... Anurag Basu's next film - not titled yet - will now release on 13 March 2020... Stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, and Pankaj Tripathi.”
