MUMBAI: Ivanka Das, who is a dancer, choreographer, and model, is all set to make her acting debut with upcoming digital series, #Mandi. 

The show is about the journey of a girl who is in search of her sexuality and wants to explore her sexual boundaries too. Ivanka will be seen playing the role of Kareena, a brothel owner. 

On her decision to take up the role, Ivanka mentioned that the story is heart-touching and the moment she heard it she wanted to be a part of it because she relates to her on-screen character somehow. She added saying that she is grateful to producer Mohini Shabade for the opportunity. 

Ivanka, who is the first bald transwoman choreographer from the queer community, came into limelight when she appeared on the reality show, Dance Deewane. She also won accolades from judge, Madhuri Dixit.
