MUMBAI: Star Plus recently launched its new show Yeh Hai Chahatein bankrolled by Balaji Telefilms.

While Yeh Hai Mohabbatein made a special place in the heart of the audience, Yeh Hai Chahatein has launched as a spin off. The trend of television shows rolling out spin offs has worked wonderfully for almost all the makers of television shows and hopefully, this one will also create quite a stir featuring Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra in the lead roles.

Sargun is playing the role of Dr. Prisha Srinivasan, a gynaecologist and also a single mother, who adopts her sister's son after her sister's death while Abrar plays a rock singer named Rudraksh Khurana.

TellyChakkar has now learnt that the show will soon witness entry of a new actor in the show.

We have heard that the makers have roped in actress Tanu Khan, who has earlier been part of shows like Chandra Nandini, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, Band Baja Bandh Darwaza among others.

Our sources inform that Tanu will be seen playing Ahana’s (Aishwarya Sakhuja) younger sister.

We tried reaching out Tanu but she remained unavailable for a comment.
