MUMBAI: Kiara Advani, who has given amazing performances in the year 2019, in Kabir Singh and Good Newwzz, was very well appreciated and loved by the classes and masses.

The actress is set to have back-to-back releases in 2020. While she is currently busy shooting for her forthcoming projects, her name has just been linked to director Mohit Suri’s upcoming directorial offering Ek Villain 2.

Mohit Suri is expected to start shooting for his next right after the release of new film Malang, which has hit the theatres.

 The thriller boasts the presence of Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor, and Kunal Khemu in its ensemble cast.

 While the director has confirmed signing John Abraham and Aditya Roy Kapur to play the male leads in Ek Villain 2, he has not shared any detail about the female lead of his film.

As per the sources, Suri has approached Kiara Advani for the female lead. However, there has been no confirmation on the same.

 Well, if Advani agrees to come on board to play the female part, it will be an interesting combination with John Abraham and Aditya Roy Kapur as she has never worked with them before.

Meanwhile, the actress is looking forward to the release of her next film Laxmmi Bomb with superstar Akshay Kumar.

Helmed by Raghavendra Lawrence, the horror-comedy is slated for its theatrical release on 22nd May.

After Laxmi Bomb, she will be seen in such interesting films as Indoo Ki Jawani, Shershaah and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Ek Villain 2 is a sequel to the Shraddha Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh starrer musical hit Ek Villain which was one of the highest-grossing films of 2014.

The sequel is jointly being produced by Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar. It is scheduled to release on January 8, 2021.
