MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s Patiala Babes has won the hearts of the audience with its progressive content, away from the clutter of saas-bahu serials that dominate Indian television. The show, which earlier focussed on the intricate bond between a mother and a daughter, now focusses on the complex relation between two sisters, Mini and Arya, played by Ashnoor Kaur and Saisha Bajaj respectively. 

The youngest generally get the maximum love, and Saisha’s case is no different. Apart from being the youngest, Saisha is much loved by everyone on the sets because of her affable personality. Ashnoor feels that she sees herself in Saisha as she had also started acting at a very young age. Co-star Sourabh Raaj Jain, who plays the character of Neil Oberoi, the head chef of Patiala Babes, is particularly fond of Saisha. 

Talking about his growing bond with Saisha, Sourabh said he appreciates the young actor’s acting skills. He added, “Saisha is spectacular as an actor. I love how she plays her role so well and I am amazed at how confident she is in front of the camera at such an early age. Being a child actor, she is not methodical and delivers her lines in the most organic way, which is very fresh and spontaneous. And having a child on the set is doubly good because it’s great to be surrounded with such amazing, positive energy all the time. I share a good rapport with Saisha on a personal level, too. Hum kuch na kuch masti karte rehte hai set pe.” 

On the show too, Neil and Arya are beginning to share a close bond. With changing equations between Mini and Arya, Neil stands up for Arya and she, too, is fond of him and considers him a friend.
