MUMBAI: Salman Khan’s family is going through a difficult time. The actor’s nephew passed away.

Salman’s nephew Abdullah Khan passed away at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. The actor shared a picture of the young man on his Instagram handle with a message that said, “I will always miss you.” While not much is known at this point, it is being reported that Abdullah succumbed to a severe lung infection on 30 March. 

Salim Khan’s brother Mateen Khan spoke to ABP news revealing how his condition went from bad to worse, “Abdullah was very fond of body building. Although he was physically well built, but he suffered from diabetes. He got admitted to Dhirubhai Kokilaben Ambani Hospital after he felt uneasy two days ago.” He further added that Salman Khan intervened when he got to know about his nephew’s ill health and immediately moved him to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra. 

Speaking about rumours linking Abdullah’s death to Coronavirus, Mateen Khan clarified, “These claims are baseless and the truth will be revealed after the post-mortem report comes."
