MUMBAI: Indian Idol is one of the most popular singing reality shows. The show has returned with the 11th season and has struck a chord with the audience. Every season has been a huge success and has topped the BARC charts. 

Meiyang Chang is one of the most renowned singers and host of television. He was a contestant on Indian Idol season 3 where he stood at the fifth position.   

He also debuted in the world of Bollywood with the movie Badmaash Company alongside Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma and the movie were produced by YRF.  

Chang also participated on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 where he emerged as the winner of the show.

Now we came across the video of Chang’s audition from Indian Idol Season 4.  Where he talks about how he came to India and what singing means to him.  

Post his performance the judges give me positive remarks. Javed Akthar tells him that there is a lot of truth in his singing whereas Anu Malik said that there is a magic in his voice and he sees him in TOP 5.  

Chang was in a relationship with singer Monali Thakur and  he had said in his interview that they parted ways because they weren’t compatible with each other.  

Well, there is no doubt that Chang is an all-rounder as he is good at singing, dancing, acting and hosting.
