MUMBAI: Sushant's sudden demise has sent shockwave in the entertainment industry and his fans are still in disbelief. His death sparked conversations about not just mental health, but also about the obvious nepotism in Bollywood. 

Koena Mitra, in a recent interview, slammed the film industry, calling out its hypocrisy. She also hit out at filmmaker Karan Johar and said that he doesn’t have the license of this industry. 

Konena while talking to a leading portal said that she had read about how the actor was treated as an outsider in the industry and he is not the first one.  She said that the film industry won’t treat you well until your family doesn’t belong here and if you don’t follow a camp follower.

She said that there are many such Sushant’s in the industry, and the industry is not celebrating art and that nepotism,bias and gundagiri has become a habit now. She slammed Karan Johar and said that he doesn’t have the license of the film world. 

It is shown as if he presents or rejects something then it is the ultimate thing. But no, the industry is an ocean and we are tiny little drops in it. He is also a drop in it. No one can decide who works and who should be rejected. 

She said that after people’s demise, Bollywood will come out with essays and beautiful notes; but when the people are alive, there bread will be snatched. 

Koena also shared an incident when once she was performing with Vivek Oberoi at a show and how one of the superstars came and told that people will corner now as Vivek isn’t liked by a certain camp. 

She was told again and again it will destroy her career because she was seen with him and she cannot understand why the industry had to take sides if two people have a problem. If you choose a master then everything is okay otherwise you are bad,” she said
