MUMBAI: There are many new concepts in the pipeline which will soon roll out. The industry has started speeding its process to entertain the masses! TellyChakkar was the first one to break the news about Jay Mehta Productions rolling out a new show titled ‘India Wali Maa’ for Sony Entertainment Television.

Jay and Kinnari have produced some good shows on television such as Rab Se Sona Ishq, Ekk Nayi Pehchaan, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey, Jiji Maa, Gathbandhan among other shows. Jay Mehta’s shows are known for having a unique storyline and a great starcast. And now it looks like they are set to create history with India Wali Maa!

As reported by us, the makers are bringing back Piyaa Albela couple Akshay Mhatre and Sheen Dass to play the lead roles.

We now have an update for fans who are anxiously waiting for the show to launch!

TellyChakkar has learnt that India Wali Maa is expected to start from 24 August.

The show will star talented actress Sucheta Trivedi in the role of Maa. The show will also feature actors namely Shrey Mittal, Sunil Singh, Shubhanshi Raghuwanshi and Vandana Lalwani playing pivotal roles.

The show was earlier planned to be shot overseas, however, looking at the current scenario it will now be shot in India itself.
