Vidyut Jammwal speaks about his film Yaara and his experience of working with Tigmanshu Dhulia

Action star Vidyut Jammwal talks about his role and the movie Yaara.

MUMBAI: Action star Vidyut Jammwal has featured in movies like the Commando series, Badshahoo, an Force. The actor is back with another content-driven movie titled Yaara, which also stars Shruti Haasan, Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma, and Kenny Basumatary and is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. 

The movie is set in the era of 1975 and deals with the bond of love and friendship between 4 friends and how the situation around them changes and gives them direction in life. The movie will have its digital premier on July 30th on ZEE5.

Team TellyChakkar got a chance to speak to Vidyut Jammwal exclusively. About his role in the movie, he said that he will be seen playing a character named Phagun, and the story of this character is very much connected with his 3 other friends. It revolves around the lives of 4 friends who are known as the Chaukdi Gang. They love each other and are always ready to do anything to support one other. But later, how the situation changes the relation between them is very interesting to see. On working with Tigmanshu Dhuia, the actor said that it was amazing to work with National Award winner Tigmanshu Dhulia who has given us movies like Haasil and Paan Singh Tomar. It was fun shooting with him and they all bonded well during the shoot. 

About Yaara, the actor said that after a long time, there is a movie on friendship, so he believes that the audiences will relate to this movie and will see a bit of their friends in it. 

Talking on fitness, he said that to stay fit, there is nothing else you have to do but be focused and worl hard. Elaborating on the same, the actor said if you have to lose some weight or you have to stay fit, you have to dedicate yourself to hard work and be consistent in your workout. It is not onlyphysical fitness but also mental fitness that is important, he said.

Vidyut Jammwal's Yaraa is all set for its digital premier on 30th July on ZEE5.
