After earlier worked together in films like That Girl In Yellow Boots and Michael, though as a producer, Naseeruddin Shah will again team up with Anurag Kashyap in Bombay Velvet that will star Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead. KK will also play an important role in the film. Confirming the news Kashyap revealed that Naseer will play a significant role in the film though he didn’t want to tell anything else. The relations of Naseer and Kashyap go back a long way. It is said that when Kashyap used to fall short of money, the elder actor would always be supportive. Talking on the veteran actor, Kashyap says that whenever he is on the sets, he lends a great deal of energy. Bombay Velvet is to roll sometime in April next year (2013). The Shah Kashyap connection go back a long way.
