MUMBAI: Zee TV’s popular fiction show Tujhse Hai Raabta has been an audience favourite due to its intriguing plot and fantastic portrayal of Kalyani (played by Reem Shaikh) and Malhar (played by Sehban Azim). Recently the viewers were intrigued as the show took a 5-year leap after Malhar shot Kalyani. With Malhar's world turning upside down and Kalyani returning as an IAS officer only to find the love of his life married to someone else, viewers are waiting with bated breath to find out what's in store for Kal-Ma (as the couple is popularly referred to on social media) going forward.
 
The show recently took a 5 year leap and a striking similarity between Sehban Azim’s reel-life and real-life look was witnessed. This however is contrary to his reel and real-life personality. On one hand, Sehban’s on screen look post leap resembles his real-life effortless style mostly featuring smart casuals, the quirks and traits of Malhar while on the other, Sehban’s character demands him to be a short tempered angry-young man. But in real life, he’s the complete opposite, he is a man of virtue, nearly double as calm and composed.
 
Sehban Azim shared, “I’m quite thrilled that the post leap look of my character Malhar resembles my personal style quite a lot. I’m a person who choses comfort over trends and casual chic is my go-to. Donning this look is quite a striking change, but so far, I’m loving it as I feel very comfortable now on set. While there are similarities with regards to the reel and real-life look, I feel obligated to bring the fact up that the personalities of Malhar and that of mine are strikingly different. He’s quite the angry young man on screen, somewhat short tempered too while in real life I am nothing of that sort, I like to be calm and composed during most situations. But I thoroughly enjoy this difference in personalities and as an actor I feed off it and get the opportunity to learn from it as well.”
 
With Malhar married to Avni (Shrashti Maheshwari) and Anupriya (Poorva Gokhale) losing all her confidence, KalMa's life is full of twist and turns.
