MUMBAI: TellyChakkar has been on the forefront reporting exclusively about Sony TV’s upcoming show tentatively titled Ahilya Bai based on historic personality Ahilya Holkar.

We exclusively reported about child actress Aditi Jaltare depicting the role of younger Ahilya Bai in the show. We also mentioned actors namely Snehlata Vasaikar, Sukhda Khandekar and Krish Chauhan being roped in for the show.

Now, we are back with another update from the show!

According to our sources, actress Bhagyashree Nalawade, who played a pivotal role in the film Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior, has been roped in for the show.

We hear that Bhagyashree will depict one of the queens in the show.

We could not get through her for a comment.

Ahilya is produced by Dashami Creations who are currently producing Mere Sai on Sony TV and are also bringing a new show titled Rudrakal in Star Plus.
