It was TellyChakkar that broke the news about Rudra Soni being roped in for the show. We also reported that Sonali Nikam or Astha Chaudhry could be roped in for the project. 

Now, the latest buzz is that child actors Vivaan Shah and Vivaan Sharma are in the race to play the lead role of Jesus Christ in the show. 

Vivaan Shah has been a part of several commercial advertisements and was also a part of Zee TV’s India’s Best Dramebaaz while Vivaan Sharma played the character of Sohum in Colors’ Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. 

Sources have it that both the child actors have equal chances of bagging the show.
