MUMBAI: For almost two years, fans and audiences of ALTBalaji and ZEE5 Club have been eagerly awaiting the second season of one of the most-successful series on the OTT platform — Apharan… Sab ka Katega. Packed with a gripping narrative, unimaginable twists, thrilling storyline and electrifying situational background score, Apharan is a 70’s style masala entertainer at its very best. Looking at the appreciation of the first season and on fans demand the makers have taken a step ahead and started the shoot for Apharan 2. Amongst the many pics released, we see the energetic Arunoday Singh in an angry young man performing a host of stunts. On the other hand, one sees Nidhi Singh be lost in her thoughts. Also, In the next snap we see both Arunoday Singh and Nidhi Singh all smiling. The team has already started shooting for season 2 in Rishikesh.

Starring a stellar ensemble cast in season 1 that included Arunoday Singh, Mahie Gill, Varun Badola, Nidhi Singh amongst others, the first season of Apharan was set in the Hindi heartland of Uttarakhand. It was a story of a celebrated cop, who lands himself in a situation where he was desperate not only for money but to fight for his one true love, his wife. In this fight for survival, he had to navigate his way through a kidnapping which evolves into an unknowing murder. The series took an unexpected turn for the worst when he had to investigate his own crime, trying to get out of the web of lies.
