While some opt for intimate weddings there are others who want to get away from the media glare and plan their big day at a place that is picturesque.

In India, weddings are about the union of two families. Sometimes, celebs want to spend their most precious moments with their loved ones at a place where there's no paparazzi or they don't have to be bothered about headlines.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got hitched at Lake Como, Italy amidst their family and close friends on November 14 and 15. They looked beautiful in their Sabyasachi wedding outfits and tied the knot in two ceremonies - Konkani and Sindhi style.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace. They had two wedding ceremonies, as per Hindu ritual and a Western wedding. From the haldi and sangeet ceremonies to the main two wedding ceremonies, all the festivities took place at the beautiful palace.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli got married under the Tuscan sky. They had a wedding ceremony that took place in Borgo Finocchieto, Italy. As of 2017, Anushka-Virat’s wedding venue was reportedly the second most expensive in the world. Anushka looked gorgeous in a pastel pink lehenga.

Telugu producer Naga Babu's daughter Niharika Konidela is all set to tie the knot with her beau Chaitanya JV. The couple is having a destination wedding in the beautiful city of Udaipur. The family including megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, and others have already landed at the place and all the pre-wedding celebrations have started.

Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar got married in Alibaug in a traditional Marathi-style wedding. They had a second wedding ceremony in July 2018, where they exchange wedding vows in Spain against a beautiful waterfall. Their outdoor wedding was perfect as it was a barefoot wedding.
