MUMBAI: One of the most loved actors in Bollywood, Akshay Kumar has managed to maintain his top position for decades. Well, one of the reasons behind the same is Akki’s back-to-back successful releases. Unlike most of his contemporaries, the Gold actor treats fans to at least 4 films a year. And while the year 2020 was a dull phase for the Indian film industry due to COVID-19, it appears that Akshay has managed to gain yet another feather in his cap.

Now, as per the latest report, Akshay Kumar is the only Indian actor to have made it to the list of Forbes’ Top 100 Highest Paid Celebrities in the world. Well, the rankings are released every year from the Forbes Magazine. It turns out that Akki has gained the 52nd spot in the list. Reportedly, his earnings are of $48.5 million, which is approx Rs. 356 crores. Huge. Isn’t it? “A bankable movie star, he commands up to $13 million upfront for films like the upcoming Bachchan Pandey and Bell Bottom,” read the Forbes’ report. Here’s a huge congratulations to the Khiladi of Bollywood!

On the work front, Akshay Kumar, unsurprisingly, has a streak of biggies lined-up as his next. He is currently shooting for YRF’s Prithviraj and has only recently wrapped up Bell Bottom. He further has Atrangi Re, Sooryavanshi, Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, Housefull 5 and many more in his kitty.
