MUMBAI: Vinamrata Bhojwani is one of the most talented casting directors on the small screen. She started her journey at a very young age and today, she is quite successful in it.

Her passion for the work has made her extremely successful and from being a trainee at the DJ’s – A Creative Unit team, she is now made her mark as a Casting Director.  

Vinamrata has cast many well-known names from the Telly world over years. Her recent projects include Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. While Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani recently hit the small screens, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan went off-air last year after a successful run for almost a year.

Vinamrata has a great experience of casting various actors in several genres. Be it romance, comedy, drama shows, she has done it all.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Vinamrata opened up about various things related to her profession.

On being asked if casting actors in a daily soap are easier than web-series or not.

Vinamrata said, "I have cast many actors in the television shows but I have so far worked in two web-series as a casting director. The process remains the same but I feel casting in web-shows is quite amazing and different."

She further added, "We get to explore a lot of things and also get to cast theatre actors or also pick up different categories of actors which is not possible while casting for the TV shows."

Vinamrata said that she gets to explore a lot of things and there are no limitations when it comes to casting actors for web-shows.

Well, Vinamrata is now quite a pro and definitely knows which actor or actress fits in the bill for a particular role. Also, she is quite proud of her journey she has been through so far.
