MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an exciting update from the world of television.

After a long journey in the show, underdog Hamid Barkzi from Nikhil Chinapa’s gang won the show apart from winning several hearts.

Hamid was the first contestant to be the finalist, followed by Michael Ajay and Jayant Yadav.

Speaking about his victory, Hamid said, “I started off the journey really slow. I was pretty under confident and scared to perform the tasks, because if you lose, the entire team gets into the trouble. Hence, I wasn’t planning to take that risk, but after a point, Nikhil Sir motivated me and told me that it’s okay to lose, but one should at least give it a try. That’s when I started taking initiative."

Speaking about the other celebrity leaders, Hamid said, “All the leaders have been instrumental in my win. If Neha Ma’am wouldn’t have swapped me in the ‘Favourite versus Underdog’ task, I wouldn’t have realised the fire that I had in me to perform and prove myself. From that task onwards, I really made a point to perform well and win immunity. Prince Sir performed with me for my ticket to finale task, which I happened to win. Hence, I feel I had a connection with all the leaders."
