MUMBAI: With the start of the New Year, ALTBalaji is gearing up to launch new series like Crashh, LSD- Love Scandal and Doctors, Bang Baang, Gandii Baat season 6, Cartel and many more.

One of the series which is being lined up is the second season of Puncch Beat. It is a youth-based romantic series, which revolves around Rahat (Priyank Sharma), Ranbir (Siddharth Sharma), Divyanka (Harshita Gaur) and Padmini (Khushi Joshi). Season 1 of the series was popular and people were even comparing it to Karan Johar’s Student of The Year.

The second season will continue to star the same cast. There is a new member who has been roped in for the second instalment. We are talking about Meri Durga fame Urfi Javed.

According to our sources, Urfi has joined the cast to play Khushi’s sister in the show. Both Khushi and Urfi will be seen playing a negative role.

Urfi, who has also been part of shows like Bepannaah, Jiji Maa, Daayan and many more, confirmed being part of the series.

The cast shot some parts of the project in Mumbai and are currently shooting in Dehradun.
