MUMBAI: 'Perfect Pati' actor Mohit Nain is all set to tie the knot with Mandeep Chahal, a Delhi-based air hostess, on March 10. “It’s an arranged marriage. Our fathers were friends and they thought we would be perfect for each other. So they arranged a meeting, we met over lunch and bonded instantly. And after dating for a year-and-a-half, we decided to get married. She understands my family, my job, my lifestyle and fits right in. She is the right person for me,” he tells us.

The wedding will be in Delhi followed by a reception in Rohtak. “We will have a cocktail party on March 9 and haldi will take place on March 10, followed by the wedding. Then there will be a reception on March 11," Mohit informs, adding, “We haven’t invited a lot of people, only a few close ones will be attending the wedding. Our wedding planners are taking all necessary precautions. We will be giving masks and pocket hand sanitisers to every guest upon arrival. There will also be a distanced seating arrangement keeping the pandemic in mind."

The couple is now busy planning and shopping for their big day. “Right now, I am in Mumbai and in touch with a few designers for our outfits. Mandeep has already bought a few of her dresses, meri shopping abhi bachi hai. Jab Dilli aaunga toh Chandni Chowk jaane ka bhi plan hai. The market has really cool wedding stuff, I have heard,” he says.

Talking about their honeymoon plans, the actor adds, “I have back-to-back shoots and will not be able to go anywhere immediately after the wedding. We will wait for some time. Hopefully, if the situation gets better in about a year, we will go to Paris.”
