MUMBAI: The Hindi entertainment industry is nowadays known to welcome prominent newcomers who have already impressed the audience as former contestants of popular Hindi reality shows. 1. Prince Narula

2. Divyanka Tripathi

Tripathi started her career as an anchor on 'All India Radio' (Bhopal). She participated in Pantene Zee Teen Queen in 2003 and won the title of 'Miss Beautiful Skin'. In 2004, Tripathi participated in India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj and ended up being in top 8 from Bhopal zone. She again contested from Indore zone and emerged as the 'runner up'. However, she lost at the phase 2 of the contest. She was crowned 'Miss Bhopal'. Tripathi made her acting debut in telefilms for Doordarshan. She debuted in the industry by playing the dual roles of 'Vidya' (an orphan and illiterate girl) and Divya (a modern and literate girl) in Zee TV's drama fiction Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. 

3. Shakti Mohan

A trained contemporary dancer, she graduated with a diploma in dance from the 'Terence Lewis Dance Foundation Scholarship Trust' in 2009. Her first big achievement was winning DID 2. She debuted as a dancer+actor in Channel V's fictional dance based teen series Dil Dosti Dance as the parallel lead character. She was also a contestant and the finalist of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2014.

4. Shaleen Malhotra

Post participating in reality shows like MTV Roadies 4 in 2006, hosting the audition episodes of shows like MTV Rockathon, Stunt Mania and MTV Roadies and being the on-air VJ for MTV, he made his television debut in 2014 with Star Plus' crime based action show Arjun as 'ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte'. Later, he has also acted in shows like Encounter, O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya and Ishqbaaaz and has also appeared in episodes of shows like Adaalat, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. 

5. Aly Goni

In 2012 Aly participated in the reality show MTV Splitsvilla 5. Later, he made his acting debut with Star Plus's show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein playing 'Romi Bhalla' from 2013 to 2018, which also was his breakthrough role. Lately, Aly was one of the prominent participants in Bigg Boss 14.

6. Paras Chhabra

Chhabra started his career in 2012 by participating in MTV India's Splitsvilla 5, emerging as the winner with Akanksha Popli. Next, he appeared in Channel V India's V The Serial, opposite Sara Khan. In 2015, he participated in MTV India's Splitsvilla 8. In 2016, he debuted in the entertainment industry by playing the role of 'Tejinder Singh' in &TV's Badho Bahu.
