Now, we came across a video where Rahul speaks about why he left Bigg Boss midway.
In the video, Rahul is seen saying that at one point, he had the biggest emotional breakdown on the show, and when he was going through all this, he had no friend to share his feelings with.

It was at that moment that he went to the washroom and spoke into the camera to give him an option of a voluntary exit from the show.
Salman Khan asked him three times whether he was sure he wanted to leave, but he had made his decision then.
Rahul further mentioned that he is extremely close to his family, especially his mother, and every day, he has a habit of video calling her in whichever place he is. He couldn’t do that and had become homesick.
That emotional moment made him weak, and he thus walked out of the show.
