Here’s what Hiba has to say about her role in Sony SAB’s Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai.

MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the world of television.

We’ve been at the forefront of reporting updates about Sony SAB’s new show Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai. (Read here: I thought I had forgotten acting, didn’t sleep for two nights after signing Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai: Hiba Nawab  )

The show was launched on TV on 8 March 2021. The promos looked extremely promising, and the first few episodes have been loved by viewers.

Hiba Nawab who plays the character of Elaichi, will also be seen portraying the role of a ghost in the show.

TellyChakkar contacted Hiba and asked her about the same. The actress quipped, “My-six-year-old niece was very excited seeing the promo, and it made me also very excited to get my viewers’ feedback. I haven’t attempted anything close to playing a spooky character, and hence, I was looking forward to it. When I saw the final product, I was quite happy and I’m sure the audiences are also liking my new avatar."

Speaking about joining the show after a break, Hiba said, “I was extremely nervous. I felt as if I were going to act for the first time. I couldn’t sleep for a few nights and was quite excited as well as nervous. Now that it has been a while that we’ve been shooting, things are almost back to normal. But to sum it up, I was quite elated to shoot as I’ve always loved the combination of Sony SAB and Edit II productions. I love to do comedy, and it was all the more exciting and fun to do the same with my favourite combination (channel and production).”

Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
