MUMBAI: Actress Monalisa who also participated in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 10 has tested positive for Coronavirus. The actress who is currently essaying the character of Iravati Varma in COLORS TV show Namak Issk Ka has tested positive for COVID-19. After Monalisa tested positive the ongoing shoot of the serial was brought to a halt and the entire cast and crew were tested.

According to reports "Monalisa was having symptoms for a few days and she went under the test the day before. However, her reports were positive. Due to which the makers decided to stop shooting and asked the entire team to go for the precautionary tests." The source adds, "While results are still awaited few actors from the show have tested negative including the main lead actor Aditya Ojha who essays the character of Yug".

A few days back, a lead couple of Colors TV's popular show Molkki, tested positive. Actors Amar Upadhyay and Priyal Mahajan are under self-isolation. Talking to us exclusively, Priyal had told us, "Honestly, I wasn't expecting my results to come positive. Because before this also, I had tested myself a lot of times and every time I was negative. Some of my friends earlier tested positive and because of that, I had gone for my precautionary tests and every time, I tested negative. So, this time also I was expecting the same as I somewhere thought that my immunity is good enough. However, when I learned that this time I have tested positive, I actually panicked. The lab guy who informed me about it, I kept asking him again and again, 'are sure I am positive?'".

On her co-star, Amar Upadhyay also testing positive Priyal said, "Yes, after me testing positive, I immediately informed the production house and they got tests done of the entire unit and everyone came out negative. Also, Amar Sir tested negative for the first time but then the second time he also came out positive. Unka dusra reports positive aaya. Maybe he contracted the virus because of me because we have been shooting almost every day and the day I felt the symptoms, we had shot for a sequence in close proximity. However, I stopped shooting for the show the very next day. He is also asymptomatic and doing fine. We are in touch with each other".
