Sania Mirza, who first held a Tennis racket at the age of six, is a six grand slam title winner. 

She won the Wimbledon Junior Championship in 2003. She also became the first Indian tennis player to win a Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) title. In fact, in the year 2005, she was recognized by the WTA as the “Best Newcomer of the Year”.

And did you know Sania Mirza is the first Indian woman Tennis player to earn more than US $1 million in prize money. Yes, you read that right!
