MUMBAI: Colors’ Barrister Babu has garnered a loyal fan base with its intriguing storyline and skilled artists. Its attempt to highlight the societal norms, taboos, and superstitions have been a major reason for their popularity among the viewers.

Previously, Thaku maa reveals the buried secrets between both the families from the past. Trilochan had left Thaku maa waiting at the aisle on their wedding day. She uses her past to hold on to Bondita and puts forth a condition to let Bondita stay with Anirudh i.e.,Trilochan has to accept Thaku maa aka Kalindi as his bride and take care of her by giving her the wifely rights only then Bondita will be allowed to stay with Anirudh.

In the upcoming episode, Trilochan disagrees with the condition and claims to have taken the decision in past. Thaku maa knows that Anirudh and Bondita support the new change in the society and she traps them in their free-witted principles by revealing her sob story — she holds Trilochan responsible for ruining her life by breaking the relationship on their wedding day.

Baffled and shocked, Anidita takes a stand for Thaku maa instead of Trilochan and he lets Bondita leave Roy Choudhary’s mansion for their women's rights. Later, Kalindi aka thaku maa, stages an act of hanging herself and takes a promise from Bondita to not leave the haveli till Trilochan doesn’t apologize for his sins.

Anirudh and Bondita are completely unaware of the storm that Thaku maa is ready to bring into their lives. She uses Anirudh’s teachings against Trilochan’s rudimental beliefs and makes the whole family believe that he is at a bigger fault and the reason for Bondita and Anirudh’s separation.
