MUMBAI: Zee 5 has always been up when it comes to content, over the time we have seen some amazing content coming from the platform, and this time the platform has offered one amazing crime comedy, titled sunflower, which has some amazing cast like Sunil Grove, Ranvir Shorey, Mukul Chadha, Girish Kulkarni, Shonali Nagrani, Sonal Jha, Ashish Vidyarthi and others.

Talking about the story of the web show, in a society called sunflower where lived every character of the show, and how the situation turns into a panic one after a murder is committed in one of the flats. How the story moves ahead, are these  society people connected with the murder?, is something amazingly shown in the web series.

Talking about the screenplay of the web series, it is quite engaging, there are several portions in the show which will keep you hooked to your seat, and there are few scenes which will surely make you laugh. But the screenplay looks dragged in between. Talking about the direction it is pretty decent.

Talking about the performances of the leads, it is a treat to watch Sunil Grover as Sonu Singh, the actor manages to Grab the attention throughout this series and will surely make you laugh, another name which requires special mention is of Mukul Chadda, he was a treat to watch as Mr Ahuja, we won't be wrong in saying that this is one of his best till date, on the other hand Ranvir Shorey as the inspector has given decent part, it was a treat to watch Girish Kulkarni and his comic timings is the best in the series. Other cast like Shonali Nagrani, Sonal Jha, Ashish Vidyarthi were decent on their part.

The positive points of the series can be the unique concept, which we have never seen before. And one of the major positive points of the series is that characterization, every character in the show speaks something and it is there for a reason. Comic timing by the actors is another positive point which will surely keep you engaging.

The negative points of the show can be, the screenplay which looks a little Drag in between which may take your interest down, at few points the show seems to be deviated from the topic but again the great performances of the lead comes to rescue and never let you bore.

Having said that, Sunflower is one of the Unique concept driven web series, which can be seen at least once.
