MUMBAI: Known for his stint in unconventional projects like Kya Mai galat? and Badho Bahu, actor Ankush Bhaskar tries to explore his avenues and take up projects which are not run of tile mill. 

So far, he has been quite successful and has come quite far in his career with the right career choices and now, Ankush has marked his entry in Colors’ Pinjra: Khubsoorti Ka. The project features Riya Sharma and Sahil Uppal in the lead roles and now, the narrative has turned towards one of the most intriguing plotlines as it has taken a leap. 

The leap has introduced Ankush as Riya’s brother and in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Ankush opened up on what excited him most to give a nod for the show! 

Ankush said, “The team is a good one to be associated with. The actors are also very humble. The leap which has come allows me to be an integral part of the storyline and my character has a lot to contribute to the narrative. The show is realistic in terms of the society which actually seldom looks at a woman’s intelligence or deft of talent and is judged for how beautiful she is. This is very beautifully put across in front of the audience.” 

When asked about his bonding with Riya and Sahil, Ankush shared that it is not always that a new comer is welcomed so beautifully on the set and that the entrie cast including Riya and Sahil made him feel extremely comfortable. 

Tellychakkar.com further asked Ankush his viewpoint of whether he feels that toxic men and their obsessive love stories are a subject of promotion. The actor opined, “Well, what is wrong if that is being telecast? If at all this is the way it is coming across and the audience feel so, doesn’t it somewhere also reflect the reality of our society? We just need to come to terms with it!”
