MUMBAI: Shaheer N Sheikh is an extremely popular Indian actor and model, who's known for his immense contributions to the Hindi and Indonesian entertainment industries. In fact, he's the only Hindi television fame who gained special exposure to a foreign entertainment industry. His popularity knows no bounds both in India and Indonesia.
Shaheer's well-known for portraying pivotal characters in Hindi serials like Best Of Luck Nikki, Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi (Seasons 1 and 2), Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali and Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke. He debuted in the entertainment industry as a teen artiste in Sanya (2005) but became a popular TV star for the Indian teen audience for portraying the role of Veer Mehra in Disney's Kya Mast Hai Life.
He turned a big name in both the Indian and Indonesian scenario only after portraying the character of the third Pandav brother - Arjun in the Hindi mythological show Mahabharat (2013), which aired on Star Plus. His fine acting chops and his smooth adaptation to the various pre-historic combat skills expanded his fame internationally as apart from India, the other country which values and respects Indian mythological stories and epics like the 'Ramayana' and the 'Mahabharata' is none other than Indonesia. After the huge success of the show's Indonesian adaptation therein, Shaheer starred in many popular Indonesian series like Cinta di Langit Taj Mahal, Aladin & Alakadam among many others.
He even featured in some music videos, with 'Baarish Ban Jaana' opposite Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Hina Khan being his latest release. He had also co-hosted Asia's Got Talent (2015), which was held in Jakarta (Indonesia).

Now, diving straight into Shaheer's personal sphere, he happens to hail from Bhaderwah (Jammu and Kashmir) and primarily belonged to a family of 5 members - including both his parents and his two sisters - Aleefa and Ifrah. Owing to his higher education, he had to travel to Pune (Maharashtra).
Years after kicking-off his stardom journey, the actor got promoted as a loving uncle to both his nephew and a niece named Aadam and Aairah respectively, who happen to be cute toddlers at present. Being close to both of them, Shaheer is seen frequently getting snapped with both these munchkins and he keeps sharing these adorably cute pics on his social media handle. Be it on the occasion of their birthday parties or random family gatherings, Shaheer never fails to share glimpses of himself having a gala time with Aairah and Adaam on social media and his fans are all hearts for these warm and cute moments.

On his current personal front, Shaheer is himself gearing up to embark upon his first-ever parenthood with his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor (marketing head and creative producer at Balaji Motion Pictures), as the duo is expecting their first child soon.
In the professional field, Shaheer is reuniting with his former Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi's co-star Erica Fernandes and the show's entire team and cast unit for the commencement of the show's third season. Reportedly, this time, the show would be streaming online on the OTT platform Sony LIV. As of their latest updates, the team wrapped up their shoot in Siliguri (West Bengal) last week and have headed back to Mumbai. Shaheer has even shared his family reunion's pic on Instagram, wherein Ruchikaa can be seen flaunting her baby bump.
