MUMBAI: Back then during the time of Roadies Rising auditions in 2017. Karan Kundrra lost his calm on a contestant who hit his sister.

The contestant had mentioned in his application form that the most embarrassing moment in his life was when his sister got married to his friend against his family and his wishes. He told them he slapped her for the same. The judges were stunned and this even shocked the audience.

The contestant said that his sister broke his trust so he got fumed up. All the Roadies Rising judges namely Rannvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia, Harbhajan Singh and Prince Narula pulled him up for it and slammed him for the same. The contestant tried to defend himself by saying he did it on impulse and got offended due to his sister's lies, but his explanations did ot calm anyone down.

After Karan read from the form that the contestant had hit the sister, he asked him if he should slap him, too. The contestant said if he feels he was wrong then he could go ahead and do so. Karan hit him and quoted, "Ye jo tu samaaj ki baat karra hai na, tum samaaj ke sabse bade keede ho. Tum jaise log na dharti pe hone nahi chahiye."

Karan then lectured the contestant for caring more about society than his sister or an individual. The actor accused him of having double standards. Rannvijay added that the contestant has also slapped his girlfriend, which added heat to the show. The contestant tried to defend himself but in vain. The participant was shown a bye-bye signal and was told to walk out of the door.

Karan Kundrra on a professional note is currently seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Ranveer. The actor recently concluded his journey on the show, while he was shown dead on the show. He had a brief part to play on the show.

Kundra also was flashed in the news after he slammed a publication for confusing him with Raj Kundra, who is in custody for his alleged involvement in the production of pornographic content.

Karan has a huge fan following and is loved by many.
