MUMBAI: Punyashlok Ahilybai is set in the backdrop of the 18th century time period. The actors are required to do extensive research and preparations in order to do justice to the historical characters they portray on-screen. 

The show is all set to witness a leap of seven years, it was earlier updated that Aetasha Sansgiri will be playing the character of Ahilyabai post the leap. 

TellyChakkar also exclusively informed that Radha Krishn fame Kinshuk Vaidya will play the lead role in the show post the leap. He will be the grown-up Khanderao.

And now, we have exclusively learned that Akanksha Pal and Madhura Joshi have been roped in to play pivotal roles on the show post the leap.
