MUMBAI: Rajan Shahi and his banner Director's Kut Productions (DKP) is known for making path breaking shows since its inception. As a result, be it any show, produced by them or the newly launched Shahi Productions by Rajan and his mother Deepa Shahi, it has been topping TRP charts and has also become the audience's favourite in no time. The production house won the Best Production House 2021 at the recently held Chatrapati Shivaji Gaurav Awards 2021.

The award was received by Romesh Kalra, the Series Director, Ranjeet Agarwal, who is the Business Head, Aarif Sheik, the Operation Head and Line Producer, and Vivek Jain, the Creative Producer.

Thanking for the honour, Rajan said, "Extremely thankful to Chatrapati Shivaji Gaurav Awards for bestowing and honouring DKP as the best production house of 2021. It symbolises the team spirit that DKP and Shahi Productions is known as. In the last 28 years of being in the industry I have learned that good teams make good shows, so it symbolises the hard work and sincerity of the entire cast, crew and the unit of all the shows that we worked on this year."

His mother, Deepa Shahi, the co-producer of "Anupamaa", congratulated the team and said, "I am proud of DKP and the team who work relentlessly to produce good and relatable content for the audience. When a team of like minded and hard working individuals come together the result is always outstanding."
