MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has become the longest-running show on TV right now. Sirat and Kartik's Jodi is the most adored onscreen duo at present.

Currently, in the show, Sirat gets a call from the teacher and comes to know the truth about Kairav and Vansh's half-day, Sirat confronts them and punishes the kids. At this step, Surekha taunts her and calls her the heartless stepmother. Sirat shuts her for this and makes it clear that she has all the rights over her child's upbringing. 

Kairav keeps trying to apologise to Sirat, but she ignores him for his betterment. Kartik makes him understand his mistake and asks him to apologise to Sirat with all his heart and see. 

Previously, Kairav breaks down in front of Ganpati Ji and asks for an apology, Sirat finally forgives him and gives him a tight hug. Looking at this the family members applaud her for making the right decision for the kids and call her a good mother. This irks Surekha as they taunt her for the words she used earlier. 

A guest comes to their place and reveals how their new daughter-in-law ignored her grandson after she gave birth to her own and made him feel worse than a step-child, listening to this Surekha instigates the same fear in the family members that what if Sirat gets pregnant and does the same. Sirat shuts Surekha and assures Swarna that nothing like this would happen for Kairav and Akshu, even if she has a baby she wouldn't move away from the responsibility. 

In the upcoming episode, Sirat doesn't tell Kartik about her pregnancy as she doesn't get a chance to say, and while checking the papers Kartik comes to know that Sirat is pregnant. He thinks she hid it from him and gets furious at her. How will Sirat make Kartik believe that it's not the truth, she just didn't get a chance to reveal it despite wanting to?
