MUMBAI: Sony TV's show Kaamnaa has hit the small screens almost a month ago now. 

Kaamnaa is extremely different from the regular saas-bahu sagas and promises a wholesome of entertainment along with some interesting twists in the story.

Chandni Sharma, Manav Gohil and Abhishek Rawat are seen in the lead roles in the show. 

Kaamnaa recently witnessed a new entry and that has further spiced up the drama.

Actor Jitendra Bohara has recently entered the show where he is seen as Akanksha's brother Karan. 

Vaibhav Kapoor is using Karan as bait to get close to Akanksha in the show. 

Jitendra's character is quite interesting as his entry has brought many twists to the story. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Jitendra who spilt some beans on his entry in Kaamnaa and much more. 

Entry into the show...

My journey in the show has been great so far. I am doing another show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein which is from the same production house. The makers had offered me Kaamnaa and I immediately said yes. I have had a great experience with the show's star cast till now. Everyone is very cooperative. 

Character overview...

I am playing the character of Karan who is Akanksha's brother and is an estate agent. Karan is quite a greedy person. Vaibhav Kapoor is using me as bait to get close to Akanksha. In fact, this is the first show where I am shown married. (Laughs) In all my previous shows, I have been shown single. But I am loving this change in my character. I was thinking about how it will turn out to be as I am doing such a role for the first time. I feel that people will be able to relate to my character. 

Views about Kaamnaa and its concept...

I thought that Kaamnaa is such a show that will break major stereotypes. It was quite different from the regular saas-bahu drama. I thoroughly liked the concept of the show. I have asked many people about Kaamnaa and they have said that they found the show's concept extremely real as if they have seen such things around them. I hope people will like the show. 

Jitendra is also currently seen in Star Plus' popular show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein where he is playing Sunny's role. 

The actor has received several accolades for Sunny's character as well.

Jitendra has previously starred in shows like Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai,  Afsar Bitiya, Arjun, Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Kyun Uthe Dil Chhod Aaye among others.
