MUMBAI: Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades are in a live-in and do not intend to get married anytime soon. The actor said that they do not need a piece of paper to validate their relationship.

He and Gabriella were introduced through mutual friends in 2018. They began dating soon afterwards and welcomed their son Arik in 2019.

Gabriella said that being unmarried does not make them ‘any less of a couple’.

“We are already married. Our hearts have connected. What more do you need? You need a piece of paper to validate it? I don’t think so and even she doesn’t. She (Gabriella) is the one who is not at all into marriage,” Arjun said.

Gabriella maintained that while marriage is a beautiful thing, it is not a necessity. She said that there are many people who can’t get married for whatever reasons and it does not make their love any more or less significant.

Arjun is an actor, model, film producer, and television personality. He made his acting debut in Rajiv Rai's romance film Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001) and has gone on to act in more than 40 films. He has received several awards for his performance.
