EXCLUSIVE! Marathi Actor Gargi Datar roped in for the Hindi Adaptation of Amazon's 'Modern Love'?

Fatima Sana Sheikh, Waqima Qabbi, Pratik Gandhi, and Ranveer Brar are some of the confirmed cast members of the Hindi adaptation of the hit international Amazon series.

MUMBAI: Modern Love is an Amazon Prime international series. The show is an episodic storytelling anthology that follows the lives of people exploring love in today's day and age. Every episode features a different storyline.

Multiple Indian adaptations of Amazon Prime Video's internationally popular series Modern Love have been announced. The Modern Love: Mumbai, Modern Love: Chennai, and Modern Love: Hyderabad will be released in three Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The show will adapt articles from the eponymous column, with each episode focusing on various aspects of love, such as romance, self-love, friendship, and familial love.

Fatima Sana Sheikh, Waqima Qabbi, Pratik Gandhi, and Ranveer Brar are some of the confirmed cast members of the Hindi adaptation. 

TellyChakkar exclusively reports that Gargi Datar, who was seen as a child actor in 'Zokkomon' with Darshal Safari, is going to be in seen in the Indian adaption of Modern Love, but it is not specified which edition or language she will be a part of.

Gargi Datar was born into an artistic household and began her career at the age of seven. Her love for the Kathak dance genre sparked her interest in acting. As a kid actor, she has appeared in over 15 Hindi TV commercials, 5 Marathi films, and 3 Hindi feature films.

The episodes are speculated to be directed by acclaimed directors like Hansal Mehta and Vishal Bharadwaj to name a few.

In 2022, the anthology series will be released in over 240 countries and territories.

There have been two seasons of the show starring Hollywood superstars, Anne Hathaway, Kit Harington, Anna Paquin, Tina Fey, and Dev Patel.
