MUMBAI: With a decade-long career, the stunning actress has a long list of notable roles to her name. Urmila Matondkar won hearts with her performances in movies such as Rangeela, Judaai, Satya, Daud and Hum Tum Pe Marte Hain.

Born in 1974, the Rangeela actress also appeared in several Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films. She, however, is most recognised for her performances in thriller movies.

Known for her flawless acting skills, the Judaai actress is also a graceful dancer. She has been featured in several blockbuster dance numbers and enthralled moviegoers with her sultry moves. Her dance performances are popular even today and only a few could match her level of energy and expressions.

One of her fabulous performances which is evergreen till date is the song Chamma Chamma from 1998 film 'China Gate'.

Recently, she revealed how she got scratches on her body because she had to wear extremely heavy jewellery of about 15 kgs for the 'banjaran' look in the song 'Chamma Chamma' and she did not have enough time to even rehearse with it.

Urmila appeared as a special guest on the singing reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'. During the episode, Urmila was stunned after looking at the performance of contestant Ananya on the famous dance track sung by Alka Yagnik and picturised on Urmila Matondkar.

Talking about the song, Urmila praised the contestant Ananya and recalled one of the anecdotes related to the song. She mentioned : "Your performance was amazing. Interestingly, it reminded me of an incident while we were shooting for it.
