MUMBAI: Puja Dixit is a well know actress of television, and she is known for her performance in Home Stories. 

Soon  she will be seen in Zee TV’s upcoming show Mithai. The actress will essay the role of the hero’s aunty. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her about her journey and if she would like to do a reality show.

Tell us something about your acting journey. Did you always want to do this? 

I always wanted to become an actor, and this passion started during my college days. I used to take part in extracurricular activites and that’s where I realised that I need to become an actor. I used to write a lot of poetry and essays and that’s how I got the knack of speaking in Hindi. Then I became a writer for a show. Then one day when an actor did not turn up for the shoot, the makers put me front and I thought let me try this.

In the future, if you are given any relaity shows like Bigg Boss or Khatron Ke Khiladi, will you accept the offer and be a part of the show? 

I would love to do both the shows and am confident that I would be able to do it. Bigg Boss is a show I will definitely do, because I love the show. It is challenging, and I enjoy watching the show. 

Any dream role you would like to essay in the future, and the director and actor you would want to work with? 

I would love to play a don lady like Gangubai. As an actor, you have work on the language, the body, and the walk. There is so much to do in such a complex character. I would like to do something like Sridevi in English Vinglish. 

I would love to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as he directs so well and the set is so mesmerizing.  One can see how he is brought out the best in Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. 

Well, we hope that someday Puja work with her dream director SLB .
