Five TV stars are celebrating their birthdays with their loved ones today (2 April 2013). They are Snigdhaa Srivastava, Yamini Thakur, Anita Kanwal, Remo D’Souza and Kapil Sharma. Snigdha who you have seen in Sahara One’s Shorr is shopping away merrily with her husband on her birthday. “My gifts are all what I will shop for now. In the evening I will enjoy a quiet dinner with my husband.” Recollecting her best birthdays she said, “Once I was so busy shooting on my birthday that I had completely forgotten about it. That was one of my favourite birthdays. Also the first birthday after our marriage when we put up at the Sahara Star Hotel was also a very memorable one.” Her wish is that she has a rocking year ahead. Yamini Thakur, who you have seen in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta, like Snigdha feels that her best birthday was the one right after her wedding. This time, she ushered in her the day she was born with a party at Anmol Party Hall. She was gifted bags, Ganpati statues, chocolates and cookies. Recollecting her worst birthday she says. “All my birthdays when I was a school girl were worst. I would receive my report card on 31 March and 2 April was just two days after that.” She feels happy to grow a year older and reasoned, “It’s of no use to lament that I can’t get younger.” Her birthday wish is that her loved ones pray for her. Veteran actress Anita Kanwal, who you have seen in TV shows like Banegi Apni Baat, Chanakya, Shanti and Sonpari, is celebrating with her grandchildren today. She got a sewing machine and her children have agreed to take her on an overseas vacation to any place of her choice. “I think I will be flying to London or New York. On my birthday I wish for both health and wealth for me and my family.” Kapil Sharma stand-up comedian in Comedy Circus is also having a jolly time. He is currently in the U.S.A for his events. He told us, “On the occasion of my birthday, I would like to thank all my fans and well wishers for all their support and love. Today where I have reached is all because of their blessings and their love for me.” We tried to contact Remo D’Souza (film director, actor, choreographer and dancer who was the judge of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa) but was unable to get through to him. We will surely update you once he reverts to us.
