MUMBAI: Amita Choksi is a well-known television actress. She is best known for her role in serials like The Story of Shanti, Mrs. Tendulkar, and Tujhse Hai Raabta. Soon, she will be seen in Zee TV’s upcoming show Mithaai.

Tell us about your character in the show?
“I'm playing the role of a mother. It's a positive character that keeps the family bonded.”
Have you watched the original show for reference?
“I've watched a few episodes for reference.”
What made you say yes to this show?
“This show is a little different from the others that are on TV right now. It's a very colourful show, and I hope that viewers enjoy watching it, because the characters are very natural and relatable. We enjoyed shooting it, so I hope people like watching it.”
How is it shooting with Debatamaa?
“I've been working in this industry for so long, and there are very few people with whom I gel. Debatamaa is such a nice soul. She's very much like her character. She actually makes me feel like I am her mother, and I am very close to her.”
