"I never expected that I will win", says Kunal after bagging the Best Actor in a Lead Role at the Telly Awards

Kunal Karan Kapoor
This year, the winner for the Best Actor in a Lead Role at the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards was not one, but two actors who took away their individual trophies. Any guesses of who these actors were??? Let there be fireworks as your favourite stars Kunal Karan Kapoor aka Mohan from Colors’ Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha and Anas Rashid from Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum have emerged as winners. We bumped into Kunal, to get his reactions. Let’s see what this handsome lad had to say. “I am still on cloud nine. This is my first ever trophy that I won in the Best Actor in Lead Role category. Wow… it’s a jackpot. I never expected that I will win. It was a very tough competition,” he averred. “There is a long list of people whom I would like to thank, but first and foremost, I would start with Sudhir Sharma (Producer at Sunshine Productions). I still remember when I met him for the first time and told him that I was not capable enough to enact the role, he was the one who infused confidence in me. I would also like to thank my co- stars, director, Colors (channel) and over and above my innumerable fans for voting me. Thank you so much,” an overjoyed Kunal added. Way to go Kunal!!! Keep going.
