MUMBAI: Tellychakkar is back with yet another interesting update from the digital world. 

A lot of web shows are being rolled out in the upcoming months.

Hansal Mehta's Scam 1992 which starred Pratik Gandhi in the lead role became a huge hit among the fans. 

The series aired on the Sony LIV app and it was widely appreciated by the viewers. 

And now, after almost a gap of a year or more, the popular director is all set to be back with yet another series based on true events.

Hansal Mehta is currently making the series on Telgi Scam.

The series is titled Scam 2003: The Telgi Story. 

We had previously reported about actor Kaushik Chakravorty roped in for the series.

We also reported that actresses Nafisa Ali and Sana Amin Sheikh are roped in for the series. 

And now, we have an exclusive update that actor Aniruddh Roy will also be a part of the series. 

Nothing much is known about Aniruddh's role yet. 

Aniruddh is known for his roles in web shows like 777 Charlie, Crimes and Confessions, and Night Alone. 

Scam 2003 chronicles the life of Abdul Karim Telgi, a fruit-seller born in Khanapur in Karnataka, and his journey to becoming the mastermind behind one of the most ingenious scams in India. The scam, spread across multiple states, shook the entire country.
