Not one to forget Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, who launched him and gave him two important films (Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na and Dhobi Ghat) of his career, Prateik Babbar, who is very close to the duo, wants their feedback on his soon to release film Issaq. Accordingly, when he got to know that the first trailer of the film will be out soon, he requested the producers to give him a copy of the trailer first to show it to his mentors and get their feedback on the same. Incidentally, Prateik has put in a lot of effort in the project that is an adaptation of Romeo Juliet and set in Varanasi. For his role, he has gone through a lot of physical training and has taken diction classes to perfect the Banarasi lingo, he emotes in. People who have seen the rushes also believe that the film will have a new Prateik whose career is bound to take off after it. Presented by Jayantilal Gada's Pen India Pvt Ltd and produced by Shailesh R Singh and Dhaval Gada, the film has been directed by Manish Tiwary who earlier made Dil Dosti Etc. Issaq is slated to release in July this year (2013).
