As we had reported earlier, Zee TV is coming up with a sequel to the show titled Punar Vivaah, which will be launched in a couple of months. But now, the show helmed by Sunshine Productions and will be called Maitree. We also reported that Urvi Upadhyay has been roped in for the show.

We now bring you the exclusive update that actor Pratish Vohra, who known for his roles in shows like Thapki Pyaar Ki 2, has been roped in for the show Maitree, produced by Sunshine Productions. 

The actor is known for his roles in Crime Patrol, Apna Time Bhi Aayega, Pyaar Ke Papad, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma among others.

The casting of the show is done by renowned casting director Reema Gupta. 

The show Maitree will star Shrenu Parikh, known for shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon - Ek Baar Phir, Ishqbaaaz and more and Mohit Kumar known for his shows like Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, Sab Satrangi and more.The show has also roped in Zaan Khan and Bhaweeka Chaudhary to play pivotal roles in the show.
