Indian television saw a major turnaround many years back when Amitabh Bachchan, the Millenium Star changed television viewing experience as the quiz master of small screen’s one of the biggest reality shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati (Sony Entertainment Television). And now, Big B is all set to take the fiction world of Indian television by storm by acting and co-producing a show for the same above channel. And if you readers feel this is a ‘sensational’ newspiece, then you have more coming as Senior Bachchan has joined hands with ace director Anurag Kashyap for this finite fiction series. Yes, while Amitabh will be acting as well as co-producing the show under his banner Saraswati Creations (which had earlier produced Dekh Bhai Dekh), Anurag Kashyap will be directing the series. Endemol India will be the co-producer. During the channel’s press conference held for the show, Big B was quizzed by media on his decision of getting into the gruelling hours of work on TV as actor at the age of 71, and he with a broad smile acknowledged saying, “It is a new challenge to work for 18 hours at a stretch and I am gearing up for it. I hardly discussed about this decision of mine with my family.” Well, this show will truly create ‘history’.
