MUMBAI : Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. Anirudh and Arshi are all set to get married soon and Jhanak by Anirudh’s marriage and his behaviour towards her.
As soon as Anirudh enters Arshi's home, it is evident that he has his eyes on Jhanak.
When Shrishti sees the same, she promises that Anirudh will not be able to damage Arshi's life.
In addition, Jhanak feels that she has fulfilled her promise to keep Anirudh and Arshi together when she sees Anirudh.
She secretly loves Anirudh though, and she wants him to wed her only.
As he gets ready to marry Arshi, Anirudh further vows that Jhanak will always hold a place in his heart and life.
There is a major twist in the show, though, as Arshi collapses after her saree catches fire as a result of a fire tragedy.
Thus, the wedding of Anirudh and Arshi will be called off. Jhanak is once again blamed for the fire incident.
