MUMBAI: Ragini Khanna, a celebrated name in the Indian television industry, has long been adored by fans for her impeccable performances.
Best known for her iconic roles in Sasural Genda Phool and Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayen, the actress has charmed audiences with her on-screen presence. However, she has been away from the limelight for quite some time.
Beyond her acting prowess, Ragini showcased her culinary skills in the reality show Welcome, leaving an impression on viewers with her versatility.

Despite her professional accomplishments, she has largely remained silent about her personal life especially her ties with her famous uncle, Hindi movie star Govinda, and his family.
In a recent candid interview, Ragini shed light on the reasons behind her growing distance from her maternal relatives.
Reminiscing about her childhood, she nostalgically recalled the fond memories spent at her maternal grandmother’s home Govinda’s mother’s house.
"As children, we spent every evening at my nani’s house. It was a ritual to meet Sunita Maami (Sunita Ahuja) daily," she shared. However, as her career took off, things gradually changed.
Reflecting on the shift, she stated, "When I started my career, there was a total disconnect. We grew up playing together in the same building, but as I got busier with work, we became strangers. I barely had time to sleep, let alone catch up with my cousins. I couldn’t even attend family weddings in Punjab or my friends’ weddings. I was completely consumed by my career."
It is evident that Ragini has always maintained a dignified silence regarding her personal life, choosing to keep her family matters private.
